Can Marianne supply background music in between sets?

Yes, Marianne can provide music in between sets at events where there is no DJ. Music can be played through her quality PA system and can be music of your choice.

How long do you need to set up and sound check?

Marianne usually likes to allow at least an two hours to set up and sound check to ensure she has the best quality sound for your event. Please let her know if there are any complications with getting into the venue (i.e. flights of stairs etc) or limited set up time and she will do her best to accommodate you.

Pack down time after the show is usually around 45 minutes and you can rest assured that Marianne will leave the venue as tidy as she found it.

Does Marianne take requests?

Marianne does her best to accommodate any requests but these have to be confirmed well in advance of the event and a small charge will apply. Please also bear in mind that all songs depend on backing track availability and key.

How far is Marianne willing to travel?

There is no limit to the distance that Marianne will travel, but on occasions that she needs to stay over night then accommodation will be charged for.

Do you supply a written contract?

Yes, Marianne supplies a written contract confirming the details of the event to provide peace of mind for both herself and the client.

Do you need a deposit?

A non-refundable 20% deposit is required on confirmation of any booking.

Are you fully insured and PAT tested?

Marianne's equipment is fully PAT tested and she has public liability insurance.

Does Marianne have any requirements?

We ask that you provide her with at least 1 double socket in the interest of electrical safety.

Please also let Marianne know if you are aware of any sound limiters in your venue as it may affect the sound level of playing.

It is also standard when booking any band or singer that you provide them with food and refreshment and wherever possible a dressing room, to store any equipment and to be out the way of your guests.
